Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Networks and the Rule of Law Project (NET-ROL) at the Leiden University Institute of Security and Global Affairs.
As part of the NET-ROL team, I study how political and economic networks affect democratic resilience and socio-economic outcomes across the EU.
My broader research focuses on financial statecraft in emerging market governments in the Global South. I use quantitative methods to study how transparency, corruption, and intervention from international organizations (IMF, World Bank) shape governments' financial decisions. I also use survey experiments to understand how voters shape and respond to financial statecraft.
My work has been published in the Review of International Organizations, the Review of International Political Economy, New Political Economy, European Journal of Political Research, and Population and Development Review.
